Using the free edition

You may use the viewer to view and convert files you are authorized to use, including for business purposes. You are responsible for checking rights, confidentiality obligations and terms applicable to input files.

Supported features and converted results

For supported viewing and conversion formats and limits, see the supported formats list. Not every file can be opened. Processing stops with an explanation for unsupported contents or files exceeding the limits.

Keep your original files. Conversion may approximate surfaces and coordinates, and lose colors, materials, part hierarchy, units or design information. Reopening a converted file does not guarantee full recovery of the original data or manufacturing accuracy. Check dimensions, units and geometry in suitable CAD software before machining, manufacturing or similar uses.

Rights in input data and outputs

Rights in input data and converted results remain subject to the original data and applicable rights and terms. Conversion with this tool does not transfer rights in your input data to us.

Third-party software

This tool uses third-party software. These terms do not restrict rights granted by its licenses. For LGPL-covered components, we do not prohibit modification or replacement for your own use, or reverse engineering to debug such modifications. For details and source access, see the licenses page.

Product source and company marks

You may use the provided product source to run this tool locally, and modify and rerun product code as needed to modify, replace or debug LGPL-covered libraries. This does not transfer rights in company names, logos or other marks, or in paid editions or services.

Advertisements and external links

Advertisements may be displayed. Using the tool or saving converted results never requires clicking ads or consenting to advertising. External services are subject to their providers’ own terms.
