GETTING STARTED
Open 3D files without CAD.
Inspect received 3D files in your browser. Open supported STEP, STP, STL, OBJ and other files; rotate, zoom, inspect sections and convert formats.
Open the viewer Formats, limits and the Free / Pro comparison
Check the file type first
The extension at the end of the name, such as .stp or .stl, identifies the format. The free edition supports STEP, STP, IGES, IGS, STL, OBJ, 3MF, glTF and GLB. For proprietary CAD files, ask the author to save a supported format such as STEP.
Select, confirm and open
Drop a file in the center or use Open file. Check the file name and format, then confirm opening. Select companion MTL and image files with OBJ, or BIN and image files with glTF.
Inspect shape and sections
Rotate, zoom, fit the view, and inspect sections, distances and overall dimensions for supported models. Use Fullscreen for a larger view, then exit using the button or Esc. Open geometry has limitations for section fills and volume calculations.
Share an image or another format
Use the camera button to copy the current view or save PNG. Supported models can be converted to formats such as STL, OBJ, GLB and glTF. Colors, units and materials may be lost depending on the format; review the confirmation and format guide.
If the file does not open
The limit is 8 MiB per file, or 16 MiB across up to 16 companion files. Geometry complexity has additional limits. Check the displayed reason, including unsupported formats or missing companion files. File processing stays on your device and does not overwrite the original.
